Description: We are very excited to have added to our breeding program a little Jack from Quarter Moon Ranch. He is affectionately called "Checkers" and is from a long line of Quarter Moon Champions: Quarter Moon Top Dollar, NMDA Nat'l Champion Best of Breed; Quarter Moon Fistful of Dollars, NMDA Nat'l Champion Best of Breed; Quarter Moon Elsie, NMDA Champion Jennet; Quarter Moon Barney, Champion Jack. He is small but has a big heart and is willing. His black mane and black cross/strip are striking against his white color and silver spots. He is simply gorgeous.

Update: Checkers place 2nd in the Weanling &Yearling Jack class at the 2012 Oklahoma State Fair! His first show!
Update: Checkers measures 30" at 18 months old. We love his black top line against his gray and brown spots. The patches around his eyes are very light tan. He is so easy to work preparing for showing and does all that we ask him to do.

Update: Checkers placed 3rd, 2 year old Jacks, in the ACOSA National Show and 3rd, 2 year old Jacks, at the 2013 NMDA National Celebration in Shelbyville, TN!

Update: Checkers is beginning his breeding career on our farm March 2014.

*We have made the very difficult decision to geld Spot Check because we have too many breeding Jacks. Spot Check, aka Checkers, loves to perform. He does very well at obstacles and in-hand trail. He is a gentle miniature donkey that is easy to handle, clip, load, and he keeps himself entertained with his Jolly Ball.

Update: Checkers will making his new home in Florida. Thank you Cindy!
